My LIFE Stations

Born and raised in 1967 in Magdeburg on the Elbe River, I was already extremely fond of movement as a child and it was therefore difficult for me later on to sit still and quiet in class at school. Sports was my favorite subject from the beginning and after school I could spend hours on the playground and spin endlessly on the climbing frame. I never learned to play an instrument – which I find a pity today 🙂 – but instead I did gymnastics, fencing and tennis, discovered jogging.

Here in Berlin it was first squash, badminton, table tennis, aerobics, then later yoga, climbing and finally tennis again. I simply enjoy moving in such a variety of ways and a motto in my work, among other things, is that the body needs these variances or in other words, “Nothing is more boring to the body than one-sidedness!” These variances keep the neuromuscular system in our body awake. And that is important! My diverse sports and movement experience enables me to offer my clients a wide range of movement activities.

My WHY

Supporting people in their development and helping them to get back in touch with their body.

The time I spent working as a sports therapist in an outpatient rehab facility after completing my physical education degree was very educational for me. Among other things, I was able to learn that my deepest desire was to support people in their further development and to help them get back in touch with their bodies. To feel the inherent potential of the body and to be able to use it again. I was allowed to learn that I needed further, different knowledge and competencies that I had learned so far. And I was able to learn that this also requires the willingness of the person with whom I work. This made my decision to go into outright freelancing easy.

And with the concept of Spiraldynamik® I have found THE concept for me that imparts exactly the knowledge and competencies that I was looking for and which I believe are essential in movement education work. I am very grateful for this 🙂 !
